Respuesta :

1. Peace can be defined as a state of harmony, tranquility, and freedom from conflict or violence. It involves the absence of war or hostilities and the presence of mutual understanding and cooperation between individuals, groups, or nations.

2. Two types of peace include: -
- Negative peace:
Negative peace refers to the absence of violence or direct conflict. It focuses on preventing or ending wars, reducing violence, and maintaining a stable and peaceful environment. An example of negative peace is a ceasefire agreement between two warring nations.
- Positive peace:
Positive peace goes beyond the absence of violence and aims to create conditions that promote justice, equality, and social well-being. It involves addressing the underlying causes of conflict and working towards sustainable peace. Examples of positive peace include the establishment of institutions that uphold human rights and the implementation of social and economic policies that reduce inequalities.

3. Harmful traditional practices are cultural
practices that can cause physical, psychological, or social harm to individuals, particularly women and girls.
Three examples of harmful traditional
practices are: -
Female genital mutilation (FGM): FGM involves the partial or total removal of the female genitalia for non-medical reasons. It can cause severe physical and psychological complications, including pain, infection, difficulties during childbirth, and trauma.
- Child marriage: Child marriage refers to the marriage of individuals below the age of 18, often against their will. It deprives children,
especially girls, of their right to education, health, and personal development. It can also lead to early pregnancy, maternal health risks, and increased vulnerability to domestic
violence.
- Honor killings: Honor killings are acts of violence, usually perpetrated by family members, against individuals, usually women, who are perceived to have brought shame or dishonor to their family or community. These killings are often based on traditional customs and notions of honor and can result in the loss of innocent lives.

4. Conflict can be defined as a struggle or disagreement between two or more parties that arises due to differing interests, values, or beliefs. It can occur at various levels, such as interpersonal, societal, or international.

5. Two types of conflict include: -

- Interpersonal conflict: Interpersonal conflict refers to conflicts that arise between individuals or small groups. It can be caused by differences in opinions, goals, values, or communication styles. Examples of interpersonal conflicts include disagreements between friends, family members, or coworkers.
- Intragroup conflict: Intragroup conflict occurs within a group or team. It can arise due to differences in ideas, roles, or expectations within the group. For example, a project team may have conflicts about how to approach a task or allocate resources. Remember, these definitions and examples provide a general understanding of the concepts, but the nature of peace, conflict, and harmful practices can vary in different contexts.
