if a bill has passed both the house and the senate. it goes to the president at the beginning of the annual session of congress the president doesn't sign the bill but holds it for more than 10days what happens to the bill

Respuesta :

This scenario is describing a pocket veto. If the president doesn't sign the bill for 10 days and congress is still in session, then the bill automatically turns into a law without his/her approval. However, if Congress stops operating before 10 days, then the bill doesn't become a law.
