for prisms how do you find the:
volume area
lateral area altitude
total area

Thanks it would mean a lot this geometry is hard to process for me

Respuesta :

Volume: Find the base area of the prism (usually the shape) and multiply by the height (or the 'long' part)

Lateral Area Altitude: so this is when you have an oblique prism, i believe...and this would also be the base are of the prism times the height which is the highest point to the base at a right angle...if that makes sense?

Total Area: I think this is just surface area, so you would find it by calculating the area of each face and adding them all up

Hope this helped! :)
