You'll have to write the report yourself (partly because im kinda lazy, partly because i cant write 500 words inside the answer box)
but here are some facts:
Rehoboam was the heir of Solomon's throne
Jeroboam was an officer of Solomon's
Jeroboam was promised the 10 tribes of Israel because Solomon broke away from God (However, God promised David, Rehoboams, grandfather that he would always have a heir on the throne)
Rehoboam was left with Judah and Benjamin.
Rehoboam's father, Solomon, actually tried to kill Jeroboam, and so Jeroboam had to flee to Egypt. Jeroboam returned after the death of Solomon, and was appointed by the people too act as their spokesman to Rehoboam to petition for "to lighten [their] loads".
Both Rehoboam and Jeroboam was known as 'evil kings'
Rehoboam actually wanted to try to gain control of all of Israel, but God told him to not attack his brethren, and so he did not
these are just some, if you need more, ill put in the comment below
hope this helps :D
