1.How would you convert f(x)= 3^x to a logarithmic function? (show your work)

2.Solve 5^x=7 and show all work

3. Simplify log3 20 - log3 5

(Number 2 is solving Exponential Equations with unequal Bases. I keep getting it wrong )

Like I said earlier that I can't solve #1 so I will only solve #2 and #3

5^x = 7
First, we need to solve for the exponent x
log(5^x) = log(7)
x* (log(5)) = log(7)
x = log7/log(5)
x = 1.209062

log3 20 - log3 5 = log3 20/5 = log3 4.
