Find the inverse of the relation?
Does the inverse represent a function? Explain.

{ (0,2) (3,4) (-3,-2) (2,4) (4,5) }

Domain { (-3,0,2,3,4)}

Range {(-2,2,4,5)}

Respuesta :

the inverse....switch ur x's and y's...

inverse :
domain is { -2,2,4,4,5} ...notice u have 2 "x" values that are 4
range is {-3,0,2,3,4}

The relation DOES NOT represent a function. A function will not have any repeating x values. It can have repeating y values, just not the x ones.

Now the relation would be a function...but the inverse is not
