A client has been ordered anthralin (drithrocreme) treatment for psoriasis. The nurse teaches the client about self-management of this drug because it can be done in a number of ways. Some may apply this drug at night and is allowed to remain on the affected area overnight. Other cases, it may be applied and allowed to remain in the affected area for a short period of time around 10 to 30 minutes and then washed immediately.
