Next we add all variables with X but no exponent so 3X and -5x Add those together to get 3X +-5X which is -2X because the + is cancelled out so ghe equation is 3X-5X which equals -2X so get rid of everything but B. Finally to confirm it is B add all the basic numbers so the five and three to get eight. So (f+g)(x) = -2X^2 -2X + 8. The answer is B. (You guys said it was A so I changed it but now I know I am right.)
