The Soviet Union and the U.S. competing about who has more atomic bombs. This is actually true. They would drop the bombs in the ocean in which at some point they accidentally dropped it too close to an island leaving a bunch injured some even dead. They would cover up the little bomb competition from the public by having the press or newscast air that are strange weather conditions. This all started after WWII when originally the USSR and the US were teamed up against Hitler. What already had the trust issues in the relationship with the USSR and the US was their opposite stand points in how to rule government; communism and capitalism. BUT what really started the beef was when the US used an atomic bomb on Japan (after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor) without notifying their ally USSR.
