For the first equation
y = x + 4
the slope is 1
the y-intercept is 4
so your first point on the graph will be at (0, 4)
because x is greater than or equal to -4, but less than 3, you need to plug these numbers in to the equation y = x + 4 to get y
x: -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2
y: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
then you just plug those into the graph, so you start with (-4, 0), then (-3, 1), etc
for the other equation, do the same thing
y = 2x - 1
slope is 2
y-intercept is -1
so you begin at (0, -1)
x: 3, 4, 5
y: 5, 7, 9
hope this makes sense
