Dorothy is very sad that her only hope of going back to Kansas is lost. She no longer has a way of getting back home. She kind of felt bad for the Oz at the same time as he was a good friend. The Scarecrow, lion, and Tin Man all gather with Dorothy to find a way to get her home. Suddenly, they remembered the Golden cap which they obtained from the evil witch and agreed upon calling the Winged monkeys. The Monkeys grant two wishes one of which is wasted on asking to go to Kansas. The King Monkey said this was not possible for it was too far and they didn’t know where Kansas was located.
For her next wish, Dorothy asks to see the Good Witch Glinda which she learned about from the soldier by the gate. The Winged monkeys grab Dorothy and embarked on a journey to the good witch Glinda’s Castle. Soon enough, they arrived and greeted Glinda at her castle. The Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, and Dorothy discussed the troubles they went through and asked the Good Witch Glinda for help. The Good Witch Glinda decided it would be best for her to take Dorothy back home on her broom. Everyone was overfilled with joy. They finally found a solution.
While on the long way back home, Dorothy falls off the broom and somewhere far into the jungle. She is then greeted by a bunch of bad evil goblins who take her shoes and run away. She chases after them and trips over a rock, into the wet muddy dirt. She began to weep and was couldn’t believe what has just happened. She thought that this is it and she is all by herself until, and large tornado comes and heads straight for her. Before she could get up and run, it picks her up and she is randomly back in her old house where she originally lived in Kansas. She gets out of her house and meets Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, who are all very surprised to see her and began asking where she had been. She immediately hugs them in happiness. She said it was a long story and began to help her Aunt pick the grapes. She was so glad to be home again with her friends, Aunt, and her Uncle.
