Persia often found itself involved in the affairs of Russia
and Britain.
During the World War I, when the Nazi of Germany invaded
Soviet Union in June 1941, the Soviets and Britain together with United States,
known to be the two greatest powers formed an alliance. During the Russian War, about 70% of the
medical aid reached Soviet Union through the Persian Gulf.
