Disposal of waste materials into the oceans and seas is very harmful to both humans and the organisms living in these waters. To stop this harmful act, the following can be done:
1. governments should put in place strict regulations and policies which forbid the dumping of waste materials into these waters.
2. Government should educate all concerned about the deleterious effects of dumping wastes in the seas and oceans.
