Three early discrimination laws were the Black Codes, the Jim Crow laws, and the Supreme Court case of Plessy v. Ferguson. Briefly describe how each discriminated against African-Americans

Respuesta :

The black codes, the jim crow laws, and the Supreme Court Case enabled for many things that were racist like segregation. They established the doctrine of separate but equal which segregated African-Americans, but also established for example that instead of hiring African-American actors, you would hire white actors that cover their face in black and pretend to be African-Americans. They also established ways that would prevent African-Americans from voting such as imposing a tax on it or requiring them to be literate.
