Winston Churchill was referring to Neville Chamberlain, prime minister of Britain, when he stepped from a plane in london, and waved a piece of paper, and declared that peace has been saved. Chamberlain later conceded to Hitler´s last demand, and sacrificed Czecoslovakia to satisfy the germans.
Britains choice, as Churchill stated, "was between shame and war....we have chosen shame, and we will get war".
So, I choose answer A)
Winston Churchill wasn´t wrong, because a few months later, German troops invaded Poland, and led to World War II.
