If the Native Americans moved west the states would gain Power, Population, and wealth. Also he said that it would make the Native Americans free from the states that they were currently living in.
There were several arguments that Jackson used in order to convince people that the Indian Removal Act was a good decision. For example, he highlighted the benefits that this arrangement would bring to white settlers. Land would be freed up, and the settlers could spread out and become wealthier. Moreover, he argued that Native Americans were not like other people and could not be civilized. Therefore, the government's efforts to assimilate them would always prove futile.
