The container that holds the water for the football team is 12 full. after pouring in 7 gallons of water, it is 34 full. how many gallons can the container hold?

it was 1/2 full  add 7 gallons it is 3/4 full

so 7 gallons = 1/4 of the container ( 3/4-1/2 = 1/4)

so 7 x 4 = 28

container can hold 28 gallons.
