Atlantic Canada is also called the Atlantic province, is the part of Canada comprising the four distinct provinces located in Atlantic coasts including the Quebec and the maritime provinces, the new Brunswick, and the Nova scotia, along with Prince Edward Island.
The region has approx 121.888 bn dollar GDP as of 2011 and a surface area of 500,531 km square. Having low population this region earlier used to focus more on fishing but have shifted to oil production, education and tourism have become the most important economies.
