So since 60+43+24+14+18+35+6= 200 and she sold 14 hyacinths out of those 200 flowers, you are trying to find how many flowers she should anticipate selling out of 2,000. The equation looks like this:
14/200 = ?/2,000
To find out what the value of ? is, find out how the denominators are related. To do this, do 2,000 divided by 200 which equals 10. To keep the fractions equivalent, what you do to the top, you must do to the bottom. So if 200 x 10= 2,000   14 x 10 will be your answer. 14 x 10= 140
14/200 = 140/2000

So, out of 2,000 flowers Shalane should anticipate selling 140 hycinths.
