Depending on the plant, different organisms can create different ecosystems based off multiple versions of that plant. Also, depending on what the plant is, (peanuts are a good example) they can help the soil and make it richer. vegetable plants, if the veggie falls off and rots, it can help and add to the minerals in the soil and work as a natural fertilizer.
