In order to prepare for a career in political science, students should study civics, government, history and economics. All four courses are important depending on the brunch in which their political career will take place. Although each policy branch has its own specifics, all four courses are more or less represented. Thus, civics implies knowledge of the rights and duties of citizens, the government and how it functions which types of government exist, etc. Economy with all its types and knowledge of the history, which can be supplemented in any branch of politics.
