Most people understand that drug abuse is a big problem in American society. Unfortunately, people from all walks of life abuse drugs, and teenagers are no exception. Explain factors that may influence some teens to abuse drugs.

Yup drug abuse is a huge problem in the United States, which in today society believes that it's okay. The main factor of some teenagers abusing drugs is PEER PRESSURE, what is peer pressure you may ask.. being pressured from your school mates or basically anyone in which you are trying to impress. This will often leads to serious health issues. Another factor is stress. Some teenagers reach out to drugs as an attempt to relieve their stress, which will create them as addicts.
