Air pollution and habitat destruction are indirect relation to the use of non renewable natural resources like the coal and the fossil fuels and hence are the cause and consequence of the large scale climate changes and the global warming that is taking a heavy toll on the biodiversity of the many parts of the planet and thus is also responsible for the depletion of the ozone gas and habitat destruction of the natural habitat of most of species of the flora and fauna.
