Help! I need help revising my poetry, all lines must be 11 syllables long and try to stay to the original idea: staying home from school. amount of syllables of how long they are are in parentheses. Any Advice? You don't have to solve it all, just as much as you can.
Oh, my dear mother I cannot go to school (11)
I would throw up in class and that wouldn't be cool. (12)
I have the snooglieyagalyflots (9)
It gives you green bumps and purple-red spots (10)
Oh, Take some medicine you say (8)
But that would only last half of the day (10)
And it's not just that, there is other things too (11)
I am burping and wheezing and my spit looks like goo (13)
I saw our dog get rabies in the middle of the night. (14)
he bit me really hard he has a strong bite (11)
i've got ebola, a cough, and Lyme disease (11)
oh, let me stay home from school pretty please? (10)
Dang it! you don't believe me, well then I'll just refuse to go (15)
Grounded! please no! i'll go to school, but i'll make a big show! (14)
okay! okay! i'll go to school you're right! (10)
i'm going, i'm going! I'll get on the bus, all right? (13)
