Underdeveloped nations have high birth rates, high death rates, and low life expectancies. Based on what you have learned about barriers to economic development, why do underdeveloped nations have these demographics?

Respuesta :

High birth rates can be attributed to the limited use of birth control/family planning education. High death rates can be attributed to increased exposure to life-threatening diseases or diseases that could be curbed with medical intervention that is not available. As a result of poor healthcare, poor nutrition, and dangerous environments such as war zones, most people in underdeveloped nations live shorter lives than people in the developed world (although the developed world has developed its own health crises, such as obesity and sedentary lifestyles).

The reasons why the underdeveloped nations have these demographics are:

  • Poor health facilities
  • Lack of education
  • Lack of fertility pills
  • They do not use family planning.

What areas are regarded as underdeveloped?

These are the countries that are known to have a low GDP. Such countries are usually full of poverty and the governments are poor.

The people of the countries may have poor education and a lot of them may not have access to health facilities.
