x + x + x + x + 2 + 2 = 24                Length: (x + 2) = 5 + 2 = 7 inches
                      4x + 4 = 24                Width: (x) = 5 inches
                             -4    -4
                            4x = 20
                   divide by 4 on both sides
                              x = 5
