If a plant cell remains unchanged in shape or size when it is kept in a solution, it is in an isotonic solution. Ergo yes 'b' is the right choice
The right option is; B) isotonic solution
The solution is an isotonic solution.
An isotonic solution is a solution that has the same dissolved solute concentration, as another solution. When a plant cell is kept in an isotonic solution, the movement of water into the cell is balanced (equal) by movement of water out of the cell. The effect of the water movement between the two solutions is zero, therefore, the plant cell will not be affected in any way and will remain unchanged in shape and size.
