By the Pythagorean Theorem:

h^2=x^2+y^2

h^2=169+225

h^2=394

h=√394 cm

h≈19.85 cm (to nearest one-hundredth of a cm)
[tex]a^{2} +b^{2} =c^{2} 13^{2} +15 ^{2} =C^{2} 169+225=C ^{2} C^{2} =\sqrt{389} = 19.72[/tex]
