Horn Island based from its Geography is a long, thin barrier island. It has a long beach located on the south side of the Guld of Mexico. It serves as a boundary between the north and south areas of the Mississippi Sound. The Island contains long stretches of sugar-white sand, tall pines, and some inland lagoons that support wildlife both in land and in water.
