Explain divergent (spreading) boundaries, convergent (colliding) boundaries, and transform (sliding) boundaries in well-written, in-depth paragraphs. In each paragraph, please include an explanation, with the effects on Earth's crust, and an analogy.

Thank you so so so much for whoever answers this question well!!!!!!!!

Respuesta :

Divergent:
when two plates move apart. It could be oceanic to oceanic, oceanic to continental, or continental to continental. This causes earthquakes, and ocean basins, or and rift valleys.

Convergent:
When two plates collide. (same concept). This causes islands and volcanoes to form when the denser plate subducts under the other plate in the subduction zone. This can also cause mountain ranges to form when plates collide and buckle.

Transform:
When two plates slide past each other in the same direction at different speeds, or in different directions. (same concept) this causes earthquakes and faults.

Sorry this isn't as in depth as you wanted it to be! ^^
