Hmmm, write/type down the question on here so, I can read it better and solve it out or ask for help from my teacher, but it looks pretty easy for me even though I'm Middle School.

A linear equation has a constant rate of change so the independent variable x will only be to the first power.  Any function with the variable raised to a power is non-linear (if it is squared there is a constant acceleration, if it is cubed there is a constant thrust, etc...)

In this case only c. has x raised to a power other than one.
