List the purpose of each of the following parts of a cell:
1.nucleus
2.chloroplast
3.rough endoplasmic reticulum
4.smooth endoplasmic reticulum
5.vacuole
6.mitochondrion
7.cilia and flagella

Respuesta :

1) The Nucleus is an organelle found in Eukaryotc cells. Inside it's fully-enclosed nuclear membrane, it contains the majority of the cell's genetic material.

2) Chloroplasts work to convert light energy of the sun into sugars that can be used by cells.

3) Ribosomes are attached to the membrane of the ER, making it "Rough." The RER is also attached to the nuclear envelope that surrounds the nucleus.

4) smooth ER also regulates and releases calcium ions and processes toxins.

5) these membrane-bound structures are basically just enclosed compartments that are filled with both inorganic and organic molecules, along with water to support the organelle.

6) Known as the powerhouse as the cell. They are organelles that act like a digestive system witch takes nutrients, break them down, and creates energy rich molecules for the cell.

7) move liquid past the surface of the cell. For a single cells, such as sperm, this enables them to swim
