If the sale is on 25% then you can convert that to 0.25
you would multiply your initial sale price 12.50$ by the 0.25 which would give you the answer 3.125 which would be the price of your discount.
You then would subtract the 12.50$ by 3.125$ which gives you the new price of 9.375$
