Given:

Concentration of titrant = 0.1000 M
Volume of titrant = 45 mL

The molarity of analyte depends on the amount of the analyte present in the titrated solution. If the amount of analyte is 20 mL, then its concentration is:

45ml * 0.10 M = C analyte * 20 ml

C analyte = 0.225 M

If the titrant has a molarity of 0.1000 m and there are 45.00 ml of analyte present, then the molarity of the analyte is 0.0022 M.

What is molarity?

Molarity of any solution tells about their concentration and it is define as the no. of moles of solute present in per liter of solution.

Molarity of the analyte will be calculated as:

M₁V₁ = M₂V₂, where

M₁ = molarity of titrant = 0.10 M (0.1 moles oresent in 1 liter)

V₁ = volume of titrant = 1 liter

M₂ = molarity of analyte = ?

V₂ = volume of analyte = 45mL

On putting all these values on the above equation, we get

M₂ = (0.1)(1) / (45) = 0.0022 M

Hence, required molarity is 0.0022 M.
