f(X) means y
y= x^2. Means y= 1x^2
So if the number before is greater than 1 you say it's more narrow
If the number before X is smaller than one you say it's more wider
My teacher use to say if the first number before the x^2 which is call the parent means I run 6 miles so I am skinner (narrower) than my parent
