In the top of the bird, you can see that the denominator was multiplied by 2. And whatever you do to the top, you have to do to the bottom. And whatever you do to the bottom, you have to do to the top. So multiply the numerator by 2 also. 4 x 2 = 8 so the answer is 8/2.
For the tail of the bird, you can see that it went from 8 to 56. Well what times 8 equals 56? 7. So it multiples the fraction by 7. So you want to multiply the 1 by 7 too. So you get the answer is 7/56.
