Multiples of 2 are 2n and multiples of 6 are 6m the only time they are equal is when 6m=2n, n/m=3 or if you prefer n=3m...

This means that that is only true when the number is a multiple of 6.

In the list given, only 14 (c) is not a multiple of six so it disproves the original statement.
