Hello there.

If 38% of plastic bottles in a production line are blue and the remaining 7750 plastic bottles are brown, how many plastic bottles are blue?

Answer:  7750 is 68%
7750/68 = 125
125 is 1%
38 x 125 = 38%
38 x 125 = 4750
There are 4750 blue bottles.

Hope This Helps You!
Good Luck Studying ^-^

Hello,

First we will search for 100% (or 1% it's up to you) :

100 - 38 = 62 % are the remaining 7750 bottles.

So :

7750 bottles -->  62 %
x bottles --> 100%

Therefore :

[tex]x= \frac{7750*100}{62} [/tex]
[tex]x= 12 500[/tex]

Now we know for 100 %, we just have to look for 38 %.

12500 bottles --> 100 %
x bottles --> 38%

Therefore :

[tex]x = \frac{12500*38}{100} [/tex]
[tex]x = 4750[/tex]

So, 4750 plastic bottles are blue.

Hope this helps !
