What is the slope-intercept form of the equation of a line that passes through (5, -4) and has a slope of 3/4
?

Respuesta :

slope-intercept is y=mx+b so to do this problem u would set it up like this y=3/4x+b then you would plug in the point to the problem -4=3/4(5)+b then solve for b so -4=15/4+b then you would add 4 to both sides so it would be -4+4= 15/4+4+b then b which is the y-intercept would be b=31/4
