Between December 1968 and October 1969, The Zodiac committed five known murders in the San Francisco Bay Area, working in suburban, urban, and rural areas. He targeted a single male cab driver as well as young couples. He is reported to have carried out attacks in the cities of Benicia, Vallejo, unincorporated Napa County, and San Francisco. His two wounded victims made it out alive. 37 victims were allegedly killed, according to the Zodiac.
