"Then I will pass away like one of them!" One of the most honorable characters in one of my all-time favorite movies said this line. J.R.R. Tolkien crafted The Lord of the Rings into an epic tale.
There are numerous characters who each have significant roles to characters perform in the three parts of the novel that have been turned into a movie. Since he first appeared in the trilogy, Aragorn son of Arathorn, I've been interested in him. The heir of Isildur is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. The inhabitants of Gondor also refer to him as Elessar. He is tale referred to as Strider, the nameless black rider, by the locals of the Shire.
Aragorn's father was brutally murdered by orcs when he was a young characters boy. He consequently spent his childhood in Rivendell among the good elves because his mother wanted to shield him from his perilous ancestry. Due to his ancestry as a powerful king who had tale vanquished the evil Sauron, he had a lot of enemies who wanted him dead.
