Respuesta :

It is true that  the main focus of 'theatre of alienation' was to keep the audiences from engaging in the magic of theatre.

According to Bertolt Brecht, the Alienation Effect is defines as an aspect of epic theater that is vital to allow the audience to think critically about the message that the play is trying to convey them.

Epic theater is not like the newer, dramatic theater, which only focuses on “plot, feeling, and growth of character,” but it actually focuses on “narrative, reason, and a montage of events,”.

The Alienation Effect is related to the epic theater in that it is very hard to produce the Alienation Effect in such a  way that does not seem forced in a dramatic script, as the audience will find an easy time to immerse themselves in the story of a dramatic play.
