Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is absorbed by an ocean

Calcium carbonate in rocks is converted into sediment through weathering

Carbon dioxide in plants is converted into sugars during photosynthesis

Respuesta :

The correct example is sugar in animals is converted into carbon dioxide during cellular respiration.

The citric acid cycle is the phase of cellular respiration where carbon dioxide is released. The citric acid cycle, the electron transport chain, and glycolysis make up the three phases of aerobic cellular respiration. Glucose molecule gets converted to carbon dioxide and water during respiration. During this some ATP is also released and some is created in oxidative phosphorylation.
