Homo floresiensis gets to the Flores Island by walking across a land bridge that was above sea level at the time is True

One of the Lesser Sunda Islands, a collection of islands in Indonesia's east, is Flores. The land area is 15,530.58 km2, the population was 1,878,875 in the 2020 Census (including several offshore islands), and the official estimate as of mid-2021 was 1,897,550. This includes the Komodo Islands off its west coast, but excludes the Solor Archipelago to the east of Flores.  Maumere and Ende are the two biggest towns. The word "Flowers" in Portuguese is the origin of the name Flores.

West of the Solor Islands and the Alor Archipelago, and east of Sumbawa and the Komodo islands, is where you'll find Flores. Southeast of us is Timor. Sulawes Island is to the north, outside the Flores Sea, while Sumba Island is to the south, across the Sumba Strait.
