In order to do any work, motivation is must. Motivation drives the individual to work and get a suitable outcome from the work. The motivation can be anything. It may be the joy of getting rewards or the fear of punishment. But the most important is our own thoughts and beliefs that motivate us to do the work. This is best explained by Social learning Theory. According to this theory individuals learn different social behaviors by imitating the behaviors of others while living in a society. This theory has four stages of learning namely, Attentively looking towards behaviors of people, Retaining those behaviors, reproducing those behaviors and most important the motivation of learning those behaviors.
