If at metaphase plate in a cell there are 14 tetrads the we can confirm that this is a non human cell in metaphase 1

The tetrads moves to metaphase plate during meiosis 1 and their kinetochore point in opposite direction towards opposite poles. They align themselves in a line at the equator plate. This occurrence is the second process by which the gametes or spores acquire variety. Tetrads are formed by homologous chromosomes during prophase I of meiosis. These pairs align to form the metaphase plate during metaphase I at the intersection of the cell's two poles.
