The aortic pressure reflects changes in the ejection of blood from left ventricle of the heart.

There are two such valves namely aortic and pulmonary valves. Aortic valve connects left ventricle with different parts of body while pulmonary valve connects right ventricle and pulmonary artery. Since aorta is directly connected to left ventricle, thus aortic pressure reflects changes from it.
