11 in the same scenario, how might natural selection alter allele frequencies in the northern population?

Respuesta :

A gene's frequency in the population should rise if it has any positive effects on the organism (in terms of its chances of survival and/or successful reproduction).

There should be more offspring of an organism whose population has advanced because of the presence of an allele. The frequency of the aforementioned allele will rise as a result. Darwin tried to use Natural Selection to explain this occurrence. On the other hand, if the allele reduces the likelihood of surviving and reproducing, there should be fewer or no offspring from those carrying it, leading to a reduction in the frequency of the deleterious allele in the gene pool.
