seeing as this might be multiple choice and I don't have the answers I will try and get as close as I can to what ur wanting
My guess would be it made it easier to herd buffalo for the Indians ... or something close to that the reason i say this is because with the addition to horses you could outrun the buffalo and get them into herds way easier than u were able to on foot
