The Current atomic model (Quantum mechanical model) is usually pegged to as the electron cloud model. This model is composed as most other modern models, with a nucleus of protons and neutrons, the similarities end with the electron placement being scattered around the nucleus instead of uniformed orbits. It is believed that the electrons instead "cloud" around the nucleus.
The most current atomic model has the region in which the electrons are found would more closely resemble electron clouds.
What are the main atomic theories?
Atoms of different elements have different properties. Atoms of the same element have the same properties and invariable weight. Atoms of a particular element do not convert to atoms of other elements through chemical reactions. In chemical reactions, atoms remain unchanged.
With this information, we can conclude that the most current atomic model has the region in which the electrons are found would be more similar to electron clouds.
